Content Policy

This Content Policy applies to Local Radar and its affiliated businesses and subsidiaries (collectively, “Local Radar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our Services include our websites and other online platforms that we own or control, including a global business directory with websites and users across multiple countries. We are committed to maintaining a “family-friendly site” as defined by industry standards, and we take the quality and integrity of our content very seriously.

Our Content Guidelines are designed to comply strictly with local publishing laws for each of our regional websites and align closely with widely recognized content policies, such as Google’s Prohibited Content guidelines.

Local Radar does not permit the publication of content that includes, but is not limited to:

Adult services or pornography
Online sales of liquor
Tobacco, tobacco-related products, and equipment
Online advertising or sale of prescription medication
Defamatory content
Online gambling (except in regions where it is legally permitted)
Drugs, narcotics, or related paraphernalia
Guns, firearms, and prohibited weapons
Content promoting illegal activities (including piracy, academic plagiarism, and intellectual property infringements)
Racist or discriminatory content

We reserve the right to remove any content that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these guidelines.

To uphold our data policies, we utilize a comprehensive moderation system that includes both automated keyword detection and human review. This system operates continuously, filtering through all newly submitted content.

Given the large volume of data we process daily, there may be a delay between when inappropriate content is identified and when it is removed. Currently, our turnover time for content removal is 2-4 days.

Additionally, we strictly prohibit the publication of content that falls into spam or “bad-neighborhood” categories, such as untested supplements, get-rich-quick schemes, steroids, or sexual enhancement products.
