Since its inception, AGS has swiftly and surely become a household name with regards to film production, distribution and exhibition. AGS Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. produced a host of commercially and critically successful movies like Thiruttu Payale, Yudham Sei, Avan Ivan, Madrasapattinam, Santhosh Subramanium, Maatran, Anegan, Kavan, Thani Oruvan etc. Santhosh Subramanium was recognized by the Tamil Nadu State Government as the Best Tamizh Feature Film in 2008. AGS Entertainment has also successfully distributed films like Myna, I and Kabali.

After successfully establishing the feature film production and distribution company, AGS as a brand ventured into film exhibition and established AGS Cinemas Pvt. Ltd. in 2010. Since then, AGS has become a favored multiplex location across the city and is known for providing a high quality movie viewing experience. Currently, AGS Cinemas has a seating capacity of 3800 across 4 locations and is looking to increase this number. All AGS multiplexes are equipped with state of the art technical facilities including Dolby Digital Surround Sound & Atmos and 4k resolution picture quality; seating with ample leg spacing, a variety of food and beverage offerings and an ambience for the ideal picture viewing experience.
